🏖️ Crossapol Beach

A stunning stretch of white sand and shallow turquoise waters, Crossapol Beach is perfect for a peaceful swim or a long beach walk. Backed by dunes and often uncrowded, it’s a favourite for families, photographers, and nature lovers.

🌊 Feall Bay

Wild, remote, and dramatic, Feall Bay lies on the west coast of Coll. With dunes, sweeping grasslands, and stunning Atlantic views, it’s a perfect place to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature. Rarely busy, you might have it all to yourself.

🏘️ Arinagour

Arinagour is Coll’s only village and ferry port — a friendly place with pastel cottages, the Island Stores, a hotel, and post office. The harbour is a good place for seal-spotting or enjoying the gentle hum of island life.

🏛️ An Cridhe

An Cridhe (“The Heart”) is Coll’s purpose-built community centre, gym, and event space. Opened in 2012, it hosts fitness classes, meetings, ceilidhs, and workshops — welcoming locals and visitors alike. It’s also a central point for council activity and public events.

🦅 Totronald RSPB Reserve

This RSPB-managed reserve protects Coll’s rich Machair grasslands and is a haven for rare birds, including corncrakes and skylarks. The walking trails, viewing platform, and interpretation boards make it a rewarding stop for birdwatchers and photographers.

🏖️ Struan (Bousd) Beach

A sheltered beach ideal for snorkelling and exploring rock pools. It’s well-suited for families seeking crystal-clear, gently shelving waters. The nearby headland offers a peaceful walk and great views.

🐬 Cliadh Beach

Remote and serene, Cliadh is a quiet bay framed by dunes and rocky outcrops. Seals frequently bask on the rocks—and sometimes swim closer to curious visitors. A peaceful spot for wildlife watching, walking, or snorkelling.

🌅 Calgary Point

Situated at Coll’s southwestern tip, Calgary Point offers sweeping views across to Gunna and Tiree. The walk along the coast is dotted with dramatic scenes—pink sands and wild open skies make it a photographer’s dream.

🪨 Na Sgeulachan (Teller of Tales) Standing Stones

An evocative prehistoric site of standing stones and a crannog, set within gentle moorland. The site hints at Coll’s ancient human presence and cultural heritage. Great for contemplative walks.
